In 1957 Fangio won the World Championship in the illustrious and beautiful Maserati 250F Formula 1 car. Towards the end of that year Maserati introduced the new 2.5L v12 engine for the 250F. This engine had its debut at the Italian Grand Prix at Monza. There were only 3 ever produced, as later that year the cash strapped Maserati team withdrew from international racing. The V12 2.5L still remains F1’s most powerful 2.5 Litre engine.

We are privileged to have been chosen to supply the valve springs for this unique and valuable historic Formula 1 car. One engine set of these valve springs has taken over 5 weeks of dedicated and meticulous attention to detail, to produce the standard that is required for such an important historic motoring icon.
